However, he decides to gamble on the last chance unexpectedly given to him. Upon transferring to the Criminal Affairs Division's Enforcement Offenses Unit, he is assigned a different kind of detective work than he had imagined, causing his frustration to build.

One day, Ganmon receives a secret mission. Under the experimental implementation of a new system called the "Prisoner Criminal Investigation Support Measure," he is tasked with partnering with a juvenile detention center inmate to conduct criminal investigations. Perplexed by the unprecedented attempt to have an inmate become a good investigator, Gunmon is faced with a challenge.

The inmate, known by the number 183 and nicknamed "Andore," disrupts Ganmon's routine with unconventional actions while showcasing astonishing investigative abilities, bringing them closer to uncovering the truth.
