In the Black Shadow Kingdom, a land abundant with gems and minerals, a young craftsman named Suwol has cherished a quiet love for Seohwa, the head of a merchant guild, since childhood. At last, he gathers the courage to confess the feelings he has long kept hidden. But during a trade journey, Seohwa’s caravan is attacked by the bandit leader Gwisoo, leaving the guild in ruins and burdened with heavy losses. To save the guild from collapse, Seohwa receives a marriage proposal from Jiil, a trading partner offering aid in exchange for her hand.
