My enjoyment of these stories comes from their emotional aspects, not from idealizing the relationships. Many do not handle the aftermath appropriately or sensitively, so I do not consider most of them truly romantic. Even so, I remain uncomfortable with these themes. Moral critiques are valid, but distinguish fiction from reality, think critically, and know your limits since these stories inherently include such TW/CW.
