Golden Shade Scans is the new group name of the scanlation group Rising Gods of the East, or more commonly known as RGotE Scans.

In the past and with the former releases under the name RGotE Scans, we have only been releasing releases such as several doujinshi and a few manga titles categorized under one tag, which is yaoi. RGotE scans was formed to share even more yaoi titles to many readers out there, and that has been its goal since the group was formed. However, because of some issues, we had to change the name of the group, and because of that change, the founder, caxiahtic, decided that the group be one to do multi-genre releases, and so, RGotE Scans, now under the name Golden Shade Scans, will be releasing yaoi projects, as well as non-yaoi projects.
